Issue Summary
Hi,
This module is not compatible with Drupal private file download, so prepared a patch for this purpose.

While I agree that this can be seen as a bug, I am not really inclined to fix it.
If you would not be using this module, you would see the attachments after all. So I am not quite seeing why I should do an expensive node_load per attachment.
