I see many people mentioning them as good Drupal hosts, but I'd love to hear comments from those who use them, and also like to see the speed of a website currently on Site5.

Also, does anyone know if you can use PHPAccelerator on Site5?

I've been with site5 for about a month now. No plans of changing hosts anytime soon. (response time for server-related issues is usually minutes.)

I've dealt with some cheaper hosts, but this one is worth the extra few dollars a month.

Site5 kicks ass. I have been with them for a long time.

http://ElectricOcean.com/67/ is my main site, and gets sometimes more than 5 gigs a day in traffic. (It isn't Drupal, but I have other Drupal stuff with them).

They have Fantastico auto installer etc for Drupal and others.

I signed up to get hosted tonight, redirected my domain name to their nameservers about 5 minutes after a signed up, and about 2 hours later, I'm able to use my site. I installed Drupal in about 20 seconds using Fantastico.

Wow! And Drupal loads fast, too. I haven't gotten to use it much, but I'd recommend Site5 pretty quickly to anyone looking for a host.

Site5 is really good !
You can get Shell Access on your Server, a lot of Tools and Stuff are integrated, the Supoport is really fast and helpfull !!!

Drupal.org might really benefit from being either a reseller or simply an affiliate for Site5. Site5 makes Drupal ridiculously easy to install and use, runs it with no problems, and the hosting itself is incredible.

The affiliate rates are like $50 per referral. Drupal could make more money off this in 2 weeks than they have in donations in a few months. It sure would help support the project.

One of the features we wanted to use was the ability to support a number of related sites from a single Drupal installation. This is proving to be a very daunting task. Site5 support is no help at all, even though I am sure they know the answers - they do not support Drupal is the stock answer.

Other than that, Site5 is very good. We have five unrelated sites that are working just fine. It is only when we want to put additional sites under one of those sites where we are having a problem.

I could not recommend Site5 as their support is abysmal with critical delays causing a 20 hour period of downtime recently. Even the initial responce to my support request took 9 hours for someone to reply.
