I have installed image and image assist modules . I try to upload an image into a post but no image appears . All I get is this funny code :

[img_assist|nid=7|title=me|desc=|link=none|align=right|width=33|height=50]

What have I done wrong ?

Seems you are using image assist. .

You need to change you image assist setting so that when you insert an image it is done by default as "HTML Filter" or something like that..

I have the same problem , inserting images in blog posts through TinyMCE; they show in the WYSIWYG area but then they dont show up n the post??
any idea?

1) Go to administer>site configuration>input formats.
2) Click on "configure" in filtered HTML.
3) Enable "Inline Images" under Filters.

and it should work...
