It will be very helpful if there will be function which allows to apply newly created pre-configured panels or edited pre-configured panels to existing groups.

Yep. This is basically next on my list of todos. Included with the system will be the capacity to allow group admins to 'revert' their og_panels setups (individually or as a whole) back to the default defined in the relevant collection. Also, you should be able to 'version' collections, so that you can have a history of the various different collections you've defined. Once that's implemented, group admins ought to be able to revert/update to any version along the history chain.

Again, thanks for the patch - sorry it didn't get incorporated directly, but the issue it solves was fixed in the reworking of Blueprints.
