According to the install.txt step #3 is: Check the "settings" page and set the fields and roles to be displayed"

After enabling the module, there is no "Members" menu entry.

I am using Members 5.x-1.x-dev on Drupal 5.7

With Drupal 5.7 and Members 5.x-1.x-dev, the path to the "Members" settings is:
Administer/User management/Members
