This is a great module and I can imagine that it will become hugely popular. It was almost exactly what I was looking for.

I hace a suggestion: would it be possible to add extra fields or have the option to add a default text?

eg When you have a classifieds site, it could be interesting to ask users to leave their phone number. This could be an extra field or just a default text that reminds them to leave their contact details.

Thanks for your interest and kind comments.

You can change the text that appears in the top of the form by going to the block configuration page for the author contact block. You could put a note to include their name and address there.

It is possible to have extra fields stored in the datbase but I think it will just add code bloat to what should be a fairly simple module - if you want to add extra fields manually to the code it's a simple matter of adding them to the form and then entering the variables into the $body variable being set in authorcontact_form_submit.
