Running multiple blogs on one site

Hi, i am trying to run to/multiple blogs on the same site. Is this possible. I would quite like to run them using taxonomy. So i create 2 categories and run each blog out of one of them. Can i do this without downloading any extra modules or which mods must i download for this to be accomplished.

The answer depends on what you call two separate blogs. You can create another content type and call it your second blog. With the Views contributed module, displaying your second blog becomes easier.

thanks bonaparte. i played around with the content-types for a while but i eventually just copied and rewrote the blog module that is included in the core. This works and i can also theme it to look how i want.
