I've been wanting to this site for a while now and after finding drupal it all came together. My only problem now is that I need some help picking a domain!
The site is a news portal on technology in the developing world. This is a labor of love for me and I am excited to get started. I have two choices for domains and it is driving me crazy!
1) TechAndDev.com, easy to remember, terms are related to the topic, and I also have the long version "TechnologyAndDevelopment.com". The thing is that my site's focus has expanded past just "development".
2) emodo.com, sort, VERY easy to remember, and very cool. I'm pretty down with this domain but some friends of mine absolutely hate it becuse it doesn't state what the website is about!
I am desperate for some third party advice about what to do!

I suggesting going with
I suggesting going with something that is distinctive and easy to remember. Then people will never forget the url or what it's associated to. My domain is an alias I've used for 10 years now I guess. People in the communities that might have interest in it they or at least their older members are likely to recognize it. You could try something like "worldtechno" or "globaltech" for example. They give the scale which it covers and primary topic. Reasonably short to type in and less likely someone will forget it. It takes into account that though the area it covers might be vast geographically, that also it isn't restrained in what "tech" aspects it's covering. As you say you've developed beyond the "dev" :)
