PHP Input format for blocks/pages..

I see that the "Input format" for blocks is "filtered HTML" or "full HTML".
Is there a way we can execute PHP code snippet with in a block/nodes ?

Hi,
It's been a while since you asked; in case you still didn't figure out a way to execute php in your nodes/blocks/pages : you should enable the PHP filter module. It allows embedded PHP code/snippets.
