When I go to: /node/add/mass_contact
It takes me to the /node/add page and doesn't even list the mass_contact in the list of node types to create.
See attached - notice that in the admin block, there is a "Mass Contact" link in the create content section but "Mass Contact" isn't listed in the page...
Any ideas?

oadaeh commentedIf you have not yet sent a message, then that type doesn't exist. Try sending a message to someone first.
Though it should work as expected, it's really not meant for normal use like that. Those are primarily for the program when saving copies of the messages as nodes for archival purposes. You'll notice that the nodes are also unpublished by default. The reason the module doesn't create the node type on install is because it's an optional feature that not everyone uses.
If you are trying to send a message, try going to /mass_contact instead. There is another menu item labeled Mass Contact on the Menus page that is not under the Create Content menu. That one is for sending messages and goes to /mass_contact.
