Hello Drupal Experts:

I am looking to build/extend a photography-related web site with the ability to allow me to custom set up a digital camera database (in mysql or pgsql) with fields to hold the various specifications of a digital/SLR camera (and related parts), and then, registered users can post their camera's specs (if they want to), and give a review/rating (other registered users can give reviews/rating,too) of their experience with the camera. Other visitors can also use a custom designed search tool to search by the fields defined in the camera database; e.g. search by "brand name" and/or "model" or by "part number", etc, and then see the result page(s) with each camera's ratings, thumbnail pic.

Are there modules available in Drupal that can do this?

oh..I just thought that I should mention that I have looked/studied through the list of modules (that I think are related to my requirements), but still couldn't figure out which modules to use/integrate together.

didn't know there were such groups! I will go look around and see if I can find some links/info on interesting web sites and how/what modules are used for building their sites.
