Hi everyone,

I've been searching fruitlessly for weeks now on the forums and through all the module listings for a way to accomplish the following:

1.) Place the registration form within a block on a page so that the user can fill out the form on the same page in which they are required to have a login to access the secure content on that page.

2.) Require 2 different amounts of registration information depending on the content they want to access. Preferrably, if already logged in but trying to access a page that requires more info it would just ask for the remaining information to be filled out, or autofill the portions that the user has already filled out.

To better describe the scenario where this would work:

A user who wants to download some software from the website is required to create a login with basic info for their profile (Name, email, company). This same user who wants to read a tutorial or view a webinar would be required to have a login with their profile filled out with more detailed information (Name, email, company, phone number, # of employees, website, etc.).

In an ideal scenario if the user had created a login for downloading the software and subsequently navigated to the section to view a tutorial, the registration block would appear and require them to fill in the remaining additional information before viewing this content.

I'm at a bit of a loss on how to get this to work. It seems to be that this sort of situation wouldn't be all that unique and that there would be a pretty simple module out there to do this. I installed "Profile Enforcer" but it seems to be broken and not maintained.

has anyone done something like this or have some thoughts that can guide me in the right direction?

Many thanks ahead of time!
