Primary menu not showing properly when having multiple URL aliases pointing to same node

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a node, with path auto option turned on.
2. Create URL alias 'support/some_home.html' -> node
3. Create URL alias 'support/some_help.html' -> node
4. Create URL alias 'products.html -> node
5. Create URL alias 'products' -> node
6. Create a menu 'Products' (title) pointing to 'products'.

Observed result:
Menu resolution is unpredictable. The URL reference resolves to everything other than specified 'products' URL.

Expected result:
Menu should point to the specified reference. It should not try to resolve thru URL aliasing or some other magic.

Adding the URL aliases in particular order doesn't help with the menu.
