I would like to suggest that the installation documentation provided with simple_access be updated to avoid unnecessary setup time for its users. In particular I think it should include the solution to this support request:

I personally spent several hours of frustration trying to get it to work, because the docs were missing a final step. (Rebuilding the permissions.)

The documentation talks about a "Set up database" button which I could not find. I assume that it performed a similar task. Perhaps this portion of the doc could be replaced by the directions in the aforementioned post.

In any case, thanks for simple_access, it provides a perfect solution for my current needs. I just needed slightly more up to date instructions.

This version of Simple Access is not supported anymore. The issue is closed for this reason.
Please upgrade to a supported version and feel free to reopen the issue on the new version if applicable.
