My site is using drupal 6, and it was upgraded from 5. The inline module could not be used anymore. So now use img + lightbox2. They work fine. However, the inline tag could not be displayed normally after the post was edited.

sorry, didn't write down the details about "could not be displayed normally".

The inline tag appears as text.

This is nothing to do with the lightbox2 module and is probably due to the fact that you don't have the inline module installed for D6, and hence the inline tags are not recognised. If you believe they should be recognised, please check your input filter settings.
