I'm using Domain module in a bilingual website and i need to translate the sub domain name into Arabic, the second language of the site. Is it possible? how?

I am not sure that I understand the issue. The subdomain name is a user-entered text field.

Is there a reason why you cannot type Arabic into the input form? What happens when you do?

my site has English/Arabic interfaces, I've written the websites name in English. i need also to present the website/sub domains name in Arabic too. I'm using i18n/internationalization module

We would probably need to do something with a new module and hook_domainload() or one of the other API functions. These would allow you to conditionally change the name / language of the site depending on the active domain.

I have never used i18n, so I'm a bit behind here.
