I followed the instruction to create the view successfully.
Though I left all checkboxes unchecked in the view edit,the problem was that access was denied to the users other than the administrator. I tried to go to admin->site configuration->views fast search node rankings... but got the following error.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: array_combine() in /home/content/j/o/n/jonathanen/html/cms/modules/views_fastsearch/contrib/vfs_ranking_nodetype/vfs_ranking_nodetype.module on line 48

How can I enable the search page to the all authenticated and non anonymous users?

I have the same problem when I attempt to access the Admin --> Site Config --> ViewsFast Search Node rankings settings.

This version of Views Fast Search is not supported anymore. The issue is closed for this reason.
Please upgrade to a supported version and feel free to reopen the issue on the new version if applicable.
