Hey all, I need someone that can work on conditional fields, to allow hierarchical select cck field to be used as a conditional field.

Basically I need to be able to specify what level can be used as conditional (normally it's the first level of a taxonomy that will be used).

So basically I need in the child fields to be able to select which vocabulary I want to use as a controller field, and then which TERM in that vocabulary I want to use as well to actually trigger the field.

For example if a user selects 'restaurant' in the 'business type' vocab, then field A would show under it.
If the user selects 'Bar', then another field would show, etc.

I need to make this happen with hierarchical select module as a parent controller.

Anyone interested? Thanks

Hey all,

I realised this has nothing to do with hierarchical select in itself, but with taxonomy and content taxonomy modules. SO I need to have content taxnomy module to be able to act as a controlling field!!

Anyone interested?

Try with the taxonomy fields module, it does what you need, but have some bugs. Others problems that I found working with this module are some compatibility issues with several modules like taxonomy super select and content taxonomy.

Hi,

Did you find a solution for this problem yet? I am working at the exact same problem now, and and I found a way using JQuery to do exactly this thing. However my code is not working very well yet.
So if you have any hints, please, please let me know.

All the best,

Patrick
