Dear,
To what extend is drupal compliant with "Checklist of Checkpoints for Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0" http://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG10/full-checklist.html
We would like to use it for a project but it would have to be checklist 1 and 2 compliant. It should be nice when it is checklist 3 compliant.
Best regards,

catchDrupal core with no modifications should meet all of 1. and nearly all of 2 (based on an informal look). Having said that, this is 90% about stuff that can be changed with theming, so it's quite possible to make Drupal compliant with as many (or as few) of these as you need in the course of normal implementation of a project.
I'm going to move this to the documentation queue as a task, since it wouldn't hurt to run some accessibility tools against a stock install and see what it comes up with.

emmajane commentedI'm going to close this issue as it is the theme, not Drupal core, which would determine the accessibility of the site. Additional information is also available from the Accessibility group at http://groups.drupal.org/accessibility
