The screen shots show the ability to do keywords but in the info screen on under development it lists file searches...
Can you clarify what the difference is? With the keyword currently...if I apply a keyword to an uploaded pdf document could a user use the search function and find that uploaded pdf via the searching on the keyword? Or is that part of the upcoming development?
I have a client who needs to be able to have a file manager full of pdf whitepapers and wants clients to be able to search keywords for the documents instead of having to look through a file structure...
Thanks...

jeffcherry commentedAlso, any insight into why one would use the WebFM vs the dbFM would be greatly appreciated...
We are new to all of this and trying to understand which would be better for our purpose of creating a searchable library of pdf's for clients - they need to be able to search and find the doc's based on keyword or even something like pdftotext - and we need to be able to have security and access rights by roles...
Thanks again for any help...

rooey commentedDBFM will, in version 5.x.4.0 allow you to search on the metadata you enter when saving/viewing properties of a file.
I can't answer your questions about WebFM - I haven't looked at it in a long time.
