Would love to see a 6.x

YES, I too am fairly desperate for a D6 version as I have a migration to do straight into 6. Thanks so much for this great module. Any idea when a D6 version might be ready. Do you need help?

I have started the port which will be a rewrite because a lot of new features of D6 makes this module easier (such as form handling).

Estimated time of arrival of the first beta: sunday may 4th.

@alpritt: your link is to a version of Node Import which does work ok, for the most part, but was a straightforward port. Robrecht is doing a proper rewrite for D6, taking advantage of new D6 features, which should be available soon.

Revering part of jonjob's improper issue change. Robrecht Jacques: I think you'll have to reassign yourself as the assignee?

Glad to see that this is being ported to 6.x. I'm installing a sandbox now and going to give it a try.

Any news on when we can expect a v6 import facility? It would be great to see one. May 4th was a while back.
