i'm using the catalog module for ubercart. but my catalog presents only words, no thumbnail pictures, although i have loaded pictures in catalog terms, as well as for each individual products. i have seen others who use ubercart has the picture feature. can someone tell me how to do it?

Have you checked on the Store administration page that the "Images" line has a green check box? The FAQs on the Ubercart site for How do I enable image support for products? or Why aren't images showing up? may help.

thanks. but i tried. i do have pictures for individual product view. but i don't have pictures in a catalog view (catalog, and catalog terms). so if i have a term page listing all the products in that term, i don't have pictures. there seems to be something wrong with the catalog module.

Off the top of my head, here are a couple of things I'd check to help narrow down the problem. Try viewing the HTML source of the catalog page to see if the image links are getting added. If so, try going to one of those image URLs directly, to make sure the thumbnails are there.

wow, you are so smart. i did find the jpg in the html. but when i typed the url into my browser, it says my server does not give permission. so now it looks like i need to talk with my host.

I check out the source, and found the image thats is being tagged to

when I goto it, nothing but white .. or no image, dont really know
I am getting very frustrated with a lot of SMALL, but very problemsome issues with these mods - WOW, almost easier to start from scratch...hmm well, not really, but at least thats a bit more straight forward (at least to me)

Basic question - did you add images in the catalog taxonomy for each term. I know, this is like asking did you put gasoline on the car, but anyways. Just wanted to mention.

Limitation of file folder permission might be an issue I guess.

In Filezilla you are able to change permissions remotely, so you don't need to contact your host... Right click on folder and then bottom option. Requires FTP access ofcourse
