Hi.

I'm looking to move out from the Dreamhost hell. My Wordpress sites and my phpBB forums have been taking more than 10 seconds to load a single page for more than a month now, read the blingy cluster horror tales in their blog if you want details.

So. What do you guys recommend? I'm very suspicious of the big players. I'd rather go with a smaller company whose business model is not overselling their mother than going through this nightmare again. My production requirements are not very big: hosting 4 Wordpress sites, 2 phpBB forums, and 1 drupal site (for now, probably more in the future) and one SVN repository. Traffic and space requirements are very low. Shell access and some kind of moneyback guarantee are also must (I wont' get fooled again).

I'm willing to pay up to 20$ a month and I don't expect 99% uptime. I'd rather go with someone who has some downtime once in a while but good overall performance than having my site's constantly dragging as they are now.

Right now I'm considering: topclasshost, drupalvaluehosting and mmhosting. But I really don't know where to look for unbiased, factual reviews.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. If I sound a bit desperate (and angry) is because I am :-(

Drupal value hosting was banned for spamming. I'd try to find someone who doesn't abuse the community. Take a look at some of the other threads here, there's plenty of honest reviews from actual long-term Drupal users.
