I'm trying to figure out what the links 'Your Invites' and 'Your RSVPs' exist for the users.
In my line of thinking, 'Your Invites' would output a list of invites that the user has been sent, but currently it's just an empty page with the heading 'My account'. There's no message saying 'No invites yet' or anything.
I understand 'Your RSVPs' holds a list of RSVPs the user has created, however I don't understand why this tab even exists for users that don't have the access privileges to create an RSVP. Does it not make more sense to hide the tab entirely to users that can't create RSVPs instead of saying 'You don't have any RSVPs yet' -- they can't create them so they never will.
Or perhaps I'm entirely misunderstanding both of these. Clarification is appreciated.

vrjim commentedyou are completely right- it really should be hidden. causes my site users tons of confusion. this module could also use some cleaning up with the language. "Your Invites" should be "Invitations" if its for things you've been invited to or "Sent Invitations" if its supposed to be a list of invitations you created. Your RSVPs should be "Your Invitations" and... well... I could go on and on- none of the language here is standard everyday American English. It's so confusing- and its been brought up before. It permeates every level of this module. I'm trying to see if our PHP guy can find the time to create a clearer version for our site. If he does I'll let you know

vrjim commentedwell i did it, i edited my install so that most of the wordage actually makes sense now. i'll post a completely reworked package here after my php guy has a go at fixing the messaging system. currently it ignores attending status and sends messages to everyone on the site regardless if you select "send to attending" or "send to not attending"

vrjim commentedi fixed the language on my install
also z. armstrong (site contributor) fixed the messaging system
you can delete the tab portion of the code that shows Your RSVPs for a quick and dirty solution to that. just make a bookmark to the link it refers to
