It depends on first porting crud.inc -- http://drupal.org/node/225590 -- looks like webchick hasn't had time, I need to review all these issues and harangue some co maintainers.

The Drupal 6 version of CRUD functions is fully in place in the DRUPAL-6--1 wizard. I personally didn't use the wizard in Drupal 5, so I'll need to see what needs to be ported there.

Now that #225590: Port crud.inc to Drupal 6 is done, has anyone gotten started on this yet?

Hi Mitchell -- I commented on the thread on groups. Short answer to record it here, crud is dead, install profile API is now a module, and it's time for Profile Wizard to be its own module that depends on install profile API.

If you would like to be a maintainer for it going forward, and/or work with profile generator, I'd be happy to have you tackle the code.
