I get an Access denied on both of the follwoing Methods:

* the CAPTCHA point form
* the CAPTCHA administration links

I am using the Admin user and I see the "Place a CAPTCHA here for untrusted users." Link. But if I click on it I get a "Access denied"

I also tried to give me the rights for "administer CAPTCHA settings", which wasn't successfull either.

I updated to 6.2 today, however I haven't tried it before update, so I cannot verify that it is related to the update.

Maybe I am missing something?

I can't reproduce (but I'm working with development versions)

can you try if the problem also occurs with 6.x-1.x-dev: http://drupal.org/node/214492 ?
this version was updated for the API change in Drupal 6.2

Update to the development Version fixed the problem.

So the current stable has a small issue with drupal 6.2.
Will use the devel until the next release!

Upgraded to CAPTCHA 6.x-1.0-rc2 and still getting the Access denied error when using the CAPTCHA point form link (/admin/user/captcha/captcha/captcha_point).

did you run the update.php script?
on which page is the link to admin/user/captcha/captcha/captcha_point?
and do you get that error with user 1?
