I don't know if this is intentional. Versus shows up as an option in fields, but not in filters.

It is intentional, at least for now. At this point I don't need a filter for it, but it's definitely something that should exist. I won't be working on this in the immediate future, but if you've got a patch, I'd be happy to commit it once it's tested.
