Description

Hi there,

I am building a site using Drupal. My site is all about birthdays of famous people. When i'm done it has about 5500 birthdays of famous people, and about 4000 other historical facts.
When people enter, my site shows todays birthdays in the content section, and the other historical facts in the right sidebar.
It would be nice if there was an option to search for historical events. So people can either enter a name and Drupal shows the birthday, or they can select a date and all the birthdays of that day will show up.
I tried using the standard search option, but this doesn't seem to work. Is there another way to search, or is it possible to add this feature?

Thanx in advance,

Spookjuh

Okay, the newbie i am!
RTFM on cron jobs and stuff!

So i got that thing figured out. Now people can enter a name and my site will display this persons birthday. Only thing that might be nice if people can select or enter a date and my site shows all the persons who are celebrating their birthday on that date. So if i select for let's say may 5th, it shows everybody who has his / her birthday on that day.

Btw, I imported about 19,500 nodes.

Thanks, Spookjuh.

Spookjuh, that's great news!

The current plan is to integrate with Views and provide a default view for this. It's the next thing on my list.
