The referencing style used by biomedical journals is the Vancouver Style (an amalgam of the old AMA styles) and for all intents and purposes, identical to the National Library of Medicine Style (NLM). Please add this style as an output for your module. Here are some resouces:

http://www.lib.monash.edu.au/tutorials/citing/vancouver.html
http://healthlinks.washington.edu/hsl/styleguides/nlm.html

rjerome commentedThere is a move afoot to greatly enhance the styling capability of this module. If we get it implemented, it will give users access to the following repository of styles... http://www.zotero.org/styles and I see that NLM is in there.
