Hunteria: social networking for hunters
Hunteria is a hunter social networking website that features photo albums, user profiles, hunting guides, cooking recipes, forums, classified ads, questions and answers, wiki, user points, user ranks based on the points, voting that gives points to the author of the node.
Some of the modules and what they are used for:
- Advanced Forum, Advanced Profile - the name of the modules say what they are used for, would like to thank Michelle for these great modules
- Image picker - this module saved my life because I couldn't find any good modules that allowed users to add images the way I wanted, the module was modified so it won't depend on Full HTML input format, had to limit the forms it appeared on and made teaser size fixed.
- Acidfree Albums - great module, used for per-user photo albums
- Questions and Simple Answers - used for user submitted question and answers
- Privatemsg - user to user messages
- Wikitools - used for wiki-like behavior
- jtooltips - used to display the teaser when you mouse over the title
- Mibbit IRC - used for live chat room, great module, I was initially thinking the chat room will be the hardest to implement
- Site tours - I almost gave up on this module because the tour on their website wasn't working in Firefox, but after installing a tour created with this module was working properly
- Thickbox - thickbox class automatically inserted to images added with Imagepicker
- Troll - great module used to ban IP's, would like that thank jaydub for it and also a great name
- Buddylist - used for friend lists, only problem I had with it was theme related but fixed very easily
- User points - used for per-user points
- XML Sitemaps - sitemap submission to search engines
- Role Delegation - module almost totally changed into blocking/unblocking users also made it show a table with log entries
