How do I make a block with hot link in it? just like the drupal blocks right here?

I recommend creating a story with the content you'd like to see in the block.

Once you're happy with it, you can copy the HTML from the story and create a block and paste the HTML.

I find it a good habit to do this, because if you create a block with faulty PHP, your site will go down.
