Related Links Module Causes relatedlinks.css

I installed the module, activated it, as soon as I edit or create a new node, in the edit screen i see

warning: file_get_contents(/sites/all/modules/relatedlinks/relatedlinks.css) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in..... includes\common.inc

It seems that activating the "Aggregate and compress CSS file" option which is required for my theme causes this issue.

The css file is not missing and this is the only error I get on my site. I did reinstall, same issue.

Is there a workaround?
