per Jax instruction (http://drupal.org/node/231270#comment-806212) copying my error report (http://drupal.org/node/231270#comment-805323) to here:
have tried now and, unfortunately, it did not work for me. additionally it's given this error:
notice: Undefined index: weight in /home/mysite/public_html/modules/user/user.module on line 1107.
if i disable the module (http://drupal.org/node/231270) this error goes away.

The openid_provider module is another code base than the one you tried in the other ticket. Please download the openid_provider module (via cvs for the moment) and try again.
