Centralized Links Management

Apologies if this has been discussed before - I couldn't quite find anything on the topic. I'm new to Drupal to so bear with me on this...

I was wondering if there is a module or something that would enable an administrator to manage links from one central location. More specifically, if a link/url were included in multiple nodes, that link/url could be updated and the updated url would be reflected in all nodes where it appears. Seems easier instead of trying to remember where all instances of a single link/url appears.
