IMHO clearing the database registration is "too" easy, the administrator should be ask to confirm if he/she is sure to do that.

The purpose of clearing the registration information is probably not obvious to people at first. Because there are 2 registration types (one-click and registration form), there can be data corruption on a mass scale if an administrator changes over between one and the other after users have begun registering for events. This tool allows administrators to start fresh and eliminates all registration data after a conversion.

What I would really like to do with this feature is work in a conversion script that would (a) change over one-click to reg form registration automatically and (b) convert settings automatically without needing to go to the settings page. I am waiting for completion of the CiviCRM module before doing this, as it is a potential replacement for the contact manager module as a repository of the registration form data.

You're right tho, this tool should be a little more complex and include assurances that this is the action the user really wants to take. I am going to leave it as is for the present unless there is a large demand for the feature.
