Hi!
I evaluate migrating our php-coded local community site to drupal. It is hand coded from scratch in PHP and therefore has many very inidivual settings and possibilities (Up for 7 years now).
One of the is multi-Domain (www.row-people.de and www.hb-people.de) content. One User-role has the possibility to create content and to choose, if that content displays on one site or on more than one. A lower privileged user that has an account on one of those sites can only create content for that one site. Additional to that, there is content that is shown on all pages (shared) and can be created by the privileged role...
Can I achieve this with drupal? I read about the Sharing content with views topic on devbee: http://devbee.com/node/4 but It doesn't fit my needs (because i can't create content outside the central site).
Any hints how and if we can migrate to drupal?
Greets,
McGo

Yes, I'm fairly certain
Yes, I'm fairly certain you'll be able to do this, but you're probably going to want to investigate the "organic groups" series of modules.
