At my site, I don't plan to have registrations for events. I've removed the "host events" permission but the entry field still shows up, it's still required, and it selects the checkbox by default. This feature should disappear for those who don't have the permission to host events, and editing an existing event should respect the current setting for the "Enable Online Registration for this Event" checkbox.

I am uploading a patch that addresses this issue, what it does is require the host event permission in order to enter eventfinder information. I have tested it and it seems to work, please take a look and let me know your thoughts.
