This is a great little module, and this feature may just be too complicated, but I thought I would ask:

It would be great to be able to select exactly which terms are displayed within the vocab hierarchy.

For instance, I have the following:

Image (VOCAB)
-- Liturgical Arts
----Iconography
----Photography
--Liturgical Year
----Advent
----Lent
----Pentecost
...

In this case, I WANT Liturgical Arts and its two sub-terms. But I only want to display the top level of Liturgical Year b/c it will have too many sub categories.

Is this possible or just too much to ask?

Thanks,
Maria

Anything is possible with an adequate amount of programming skills and settings. This one will take a lot of thought. Have you any ideas on how this might be done? I can certainly think of a brute force/settings solution, but something a bit more elegant would be preferred.

It is rather complicated since currently, there are currently no vocab-specific settings, which is that this would demand. It is a little bit like creating a view, with filters limited to vocabularies. A second level selection, once a 'list' has been created for a particular vocabulary, would be to select terms within the vocabulary.

Unfortunately, I completely lack the programming skills to implement this. I can test and think of nice work-flows and settings options, but I can't even attempt to program this. I am at best a hacker of other folk's code, at best.

It should probably stay postponed unless I get hit by a bolt of programming genius (not likely, I write in theology, not php). Ah well, nice idea.
