Hi, I'm trying to install XStandard for the first time on http://www.spencerhill.us/green-dragon and I'm having difficulty. I was hoping someone could help?
I downloaded the following module: http://drupal.org/project/xstandard
Unzipped it.
Deposited it directly into /modules
Uploaded it to /modules
Went /admin
Clicked on "Modules"
Scrolled down until I saw XStandard.
Selected XStandard
Enabled it by selecting the checkbox.
Then went back to /admin
Selected "XStandard" from beneath the "Site Configuration" category
Reviewed everything and selected "Use Default Settings"
Then clicked "Save Configurations"
XStandard never seemed to appear...
I also downloaded and installed XStandard for Mac (I'm running 10.5)
Can someone please help me? I'm willing to use another WYSIWYG Editor but I heard good things about XStandard. Thanks!

A) contrib modules should be uploaded to sites/all/modules folder
B) you will get more specific help with this module by filing a support request using the project page of the module where the developer and sub community of users can chime in.

So why do I put it in sites/all?
And where is the project page that you submit support requests too?

goto the xstandard project page in the downloads area. There you will find a link to submit a support request. see: http://drupal.org/project/xstandard scroll down to Request Support
contrib modules go into sites/all/modules because as a best practice it is important to keep core modules and contrib modules seperate which will make it much easier to update and upgrade your drupal installation when security releases and new releases and released.
