I think, I found a bug regarding the renaming of cck content types and the way module variables for node types are stored in the variables db table.

I am not quite sure, but isn't cck api part of the drupal core by now (bug occured on D4.7 while using flashvideo module).

I posted a bug report here (http://drupal.org/node/247270#comment-809575).

Please check, if this renaming issue concerns all releases of drupal.

AFAIK, CCK still isn't in Drupal core. And I'm pretty sure I would have noticed. (If nothing else (like a huge amount of buzz on the planet and in IRC), I do keep close tabs on the commits.)

Creation and handling of content types was the job of CCK in Drupak 4.7. As of D5, this is now handled by core's node.module, leaving CCK handling the custom fields.

This issue needs a clear description of the bug - also please confirm what core and CCK versions you're running
