For proper handling of each payment there should be a reference field.

Maybe two would be better:

  1. direct_debit_site_reference
  2. direct_debit_customer_reference

Then make the direct_debit_site_reference field available in two flavours.

  1. hidden
  2. visible disabled

Only one direct_debit_site_reference added. It takes too much logic to separate two fields with the same name.
