Description

I have created a content-type called 'post' wich will be availlable for users of a website to submit content. For this content-type the 'Split Summary At Cursor' option should not be visible to those users. When hiding this field/button with the Formdefaults module enabled this does not do anything. Any other field can be hidden but the option to split the post stays visible. Is this an exception of functionallity of this module or am I missing something?

This really should have been controlled by permissions and roles.

I am also trying to hide this button. Goose2000, I think the user roles and permissions cannot solve this problem.

Same here. +1 for this new feature.

In the meantime here are 3 ways to hide "Split Summary At Cursor" button at http://drupal.org/node/225955#comment-1798630
