When an old user logs in to the drupal website, it gives the error: "Unable to create new phpBB user: olduser error: username is wrong" or a similar message (I changed phphbbforum language to Turkish, so it probably similar but I am not sure exactly)

Is it because of the module or did I do something wrong?

Check the password settings of phpBB. Do all your password match the rules in phpBB?
I have the same problem here. Sometimes it is solved with changing password restrictions to "none", sometimes, it's not.
