This patch gets Side Content going on my 6.1 installation. I've tried to cover all points for migration to 6.x, but I only found one real change to the code.
There's a complete patched version attached too, in case the wheels rotate a little slow here at drupal.org...

This is a great module. -The ability to chose placement of content to the right or left sidebar (like in image_assist), would be excellent.

Thanks Arru, I'll try to review this patch as soon as I can.
In the mean time anyone else want to test it?

There are actually a few more changes needed, as described in http://drupal.org/node/231045#comment-1008554 Has the support of the module stalled recently?

Update planned for January - hoping to update a few modules in one go.

Is there any way to have multiple sidecontent blocks on a page?
