Documentation on use of I-Cal feature

I could use some documentation on how the i-cal feature should work and be implemented. Right now, I have the latest event.module from cvs and I've run the update script, but the little i-cal icon (at the bottom of my drupal calendar) links to event/ical/all/all; the page cannot be displayed!

I've probably missed something obvious, but thanks in advanced for additional instructions.
