Hi there,

I'm just comparing the wysiwyg solutions for drupal, and niceEdit seems to be a very good one, to not say the best.

But I encounter an annoying problem. When I enable the editor, on node that have a big content, the textarea get the size to contain all content without a scrollbar. In my case, the textarea is so big (several page scroll down...)

NiceEdit should keep the very good functionnality of drupal that allow to extend the height of the textarea with a bar of bottom of it. (the bar is still here, but not movable).

Is there a way to correct that ?

I'd ask over at the main site (http://nicedit.com) for features such as this. This module only implements the editor and doesn't have anything to do with it's feature set, though the developers here might still help you and grant this feature, but through the nicedit website. In this case, Drupal's default scrollbar is a text editor in itself so once you replace it with another WYSIWYG editor then the method of scrolling (scroll bar, resizable bar) is up to the editor, so I suggest going to nieEdit and asking for a feature like this. BTW, I really like the current method! I think it's very smart.

Ok, thank you I will take a look on the official forum.

But I think you will not find this sytem smart when you will have content that have over than 1000 lines. Each time you want to bold some text, you have to scroll up 3 full page height to access the editor button ^^.

Yes, I have found using those buttons a pain when working with longer documents which luckily on my site doesn't happen often. What's the link to your site?
