I just recently grabbed jsdomenu, and it looks like it has the basics of what I need, however I am not sure if it is possible or how to get it to do the following:
1) Allow for multiple vocabulary, not just one selected.
2) Have each vocabulary have static/absolute placement around a div, that would encapsulate and image, so when clicking on the image it would show the menu for that vocabulary.
As I'm looking for a way to use multiple vocabulary, ala catagories under an articles section, and portfolio sections, that would have different top level images associated with them in an image based top navigation. I presume as I know the jsdomenu off dynamic drive allows for div placement this is possible, I just need to figure out how to tell each category where it needs to be displayed, and what category to associate with each div, a way to ID each menu if you will.
Any help with this would be awesome.
Using drup 4.6 and latest jsdomenu. Thanks guys, drupal rocks.

Not sure I can help you with this
I like the sound of those ideas (I actually did some of the work on the latest version of jsdomenu). At the moment I can't help thinking that the specific requirements you have go some way beyond what the module can do, and that it would require a fairly significant development to bring it up to scratch - which sadly I just don't have the time to do right now.
But I like the idea of being able to choose different vocabularies for display, and then to associate a div with each vocabulary so that its menu would only appear where wanted.
If I get some time one of these days I might try to do something like that - but don't hold your breath!
Sorry I can't be more helpful
