Following the upgrade instructions (copying settings.php and disabling the modules) the upgrade script (update.php) stops after page 1 (warning about unicode strings) with the message:

> An error occurred while loading http://www.wnw.org/drupal/current/update.php?op=info:
> Internal error in server
> www.wnw.org

The error in the php logfile is:

I found out that there is no direct upgrade from 4.7.x to 6.x. This upgrade takes two steps:
1 - Upgrade from 4.7.x to 5.x.
2 - Upgrade from 5.x to 6.x.
I think I will try this first.

Gert.

Your upgrade path should be v4.7.6 --> v4.7.11 --> 5.0 --> 5.7 --> 6.0 --> 6.1 --> 6.2
