Description

Hey there.. I converted three views to be used as "panes" and inserted them into a panel with tabs as style.

When I navigate on the page, I see that all content is inserted in the main section 'the first tab" and that the other tabs are actually empty. This happens with mini panels and with panel pages as well.

When I click on another tab to see, It's not only empty, but it also seems to break the since after that I just can't click on the first tab to come back...

I'm not sure if this is related to the type of content I added to the panel page (views) I will test that now and report back...

Well, none of the panes can be empty, or the results may be weird. I'm pretty sure you've got empty panes, since nobody else has this problem. If you think that's not the case, please post a screenshot of the "content editing" section of Panels.

well the panels are not empty, since results for the three panes are displayed under the same tab!!!

I made some tests and this happens because in my view I selected node teasers! When I switch the views to list or table everything comes back to normal as far as tabs are concerned. There are weird problems with panels and teasers these days, I also posted an issue on panels issue queue about a problem with node teaser inserted in a pane...Maybe a new bug came with last version of panels?

That's *not* the same as I said! Please read my reply again. Note that there's a difference between panels and panes!

Please post the screenshot I mentioned.

Hey there,

Ok so here goes...

In the first screen (capture-2) you can see that I have three panes... Each pane contains basically the same view, with a different sort.

You can see that there IS content in each pane....

Now, when the views are in list mode, you can see that I have only one entrance under the first tab, which means that it's working as expect..see second screen (capture 3)

If I go ahead and then put back the first view in teaser mode, check out what happens (capture-4), the content of the other tabs is actually pulled back to the first tab and if I click on the second tab I get nothing at all, and furthermore I can,t get back to the first tab without reloading the whole page!

I think maybe a new bug may have been introduced when using teasers, as I also have a problem when inserting a teaser node inside a pane. see : http://drupal.org/node/247125

CHanging it no active since I provided the requested infos.. Any more info you would like?? I tried to remove ALL fields one after the other and refreshing cache between each and there is no field that seems to cause this...

I 'm running out of ideas on how to debug this...Anyone can reproduce?

I have exactly the same problem. The weirdest thing here is, that it was working when I first updated to dev version of jstools. Then suddenly all the content of the tabbed panels are under the first panel.

This is an old issue. It was resolved long ago. You'll have to dig into this yourself if you want this fixed, I'm afraid ;) :)
