I've installed tinymce, created a profile, assigned access and user rights to the blogger role, and assigned 'full html' input format to the blogger role. Yet when I use tinymce, it appears correct on the screen as I edit, but after I've submitted it, it's just plain text.

Your probably need to check your "Input Formats". When you submit the node try selecting the Full HTML input format.

Hi, as I said in my original post, I do have "full html" checked. Thanks, Keith

I have the same problem, where do you need to specify your input format??? Thanks for the help!

I just fixed my problem, I had to change the default input format to "Full HTML". Thanks for the solution sferrero. :)

Using: Drupal-6.2

I'm having a similar problem. It works with FULL HTML, but not with Filtered HTML.

FCKeditor works with Filtered HTML, although you need to expand the list of allowed tags... I was hoping to find the same for TinyMCE.

I'm having the same issue. I have tried both "filtered-HTML" and "Full-HTML". Has a fix been found yet?

Why does this not work with filtered html?

Hi, did you use cck fields? If so, take a look at the configuration of your field. The default status is "plain text". Check filtered text (and choose full html as default input format) and the problem is solved.
Good luck! Els
